League Play
Everyone plays once a month with 1 or more players from the group. (You may not play by yourself). The goal of this league is to play different courses with some different golfers n a fun competitive way. Each month you will be awarded points based off of your score. At the end of the Season you will be awarded a stroke bonus in the Championship based off of your regular season performance (Think Fed Ex Championship with your handicap). The cost is $100 to enter the league. There is also a monthly fee of $20 for a modified skins game played amongst everyone.
You will have 1 month to play the required course to make it flexible for everyone. Money for skins and entry is sent to Mark Jaep Venmo. Confirm after sending to 856-906-8063.
Your score card must be sent to Brian Gillespie each round to be recorded, which will be uploaded online to add a rolling handicap in addition to see who wins any of the skins. Please send a text to 609-287-3410. You may use the WhatsApp chat as well.
Our handicap system will progress throughout the season. It will start as a 0 handicap. A change for this season is the handicap will only be 3/4 of what last years handicap was. If you shoot a 20 over last season you received a 20 handicap in our system. This year it would be 15.
Rules/Payouts
Basic Rules -
- No Mulligans
- Play the ball from the White Tees
- Play the ball where it lies
- If you are on the fairway, but in a divot you get a free drop.
- Max Score is a 10
- If the ball is on a root or stone please drop your ball (free), but don't take any liberties. If you didn't have a shot at the green, that should remain.
- If there is a drop zone please use it.
- If you hit it into the water or OB please use a drop at closest point from the last point the ball was inbounds.
